Tanja Musik – Child Psychologist

Tanja is a Registered Psychologist with a Masters in Psychology from the University of Hamburg and postgraduate qualifications from Macquarie University. Tanja is highly experienced in working with children and adolescents, having practiced extensively in providing psychological therapy in schools to support young people and their families.

Tanja is trained in supporting clients with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorders, autism spectrum disorder, intellectual and learning difficulties, anxiety and mood disorders, and behavioural and emotional difficulties, using techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing to help clients achieve their goals.

Tanja is passionate about administering comprehensive psychological and psychometric assessments, including cognitive, learning, adaptive functioning, emotional, and behavioural assessments, as part of developing appropriate support for clients to enhance their learning and well-being outcomes. She believes in working in a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals to collaborate and communicate effectively, addressing as many aspects of a client’s care as possible.

Tanja holds full registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a board-approved supervisor.
