Sophia Zervos – Child Psychologist
Sophia is a Clinical Psychologist with more than 30 years experience in both public and private sectors.
She specialises in assessment and management of children preschool or early primary school age, with developmental and behavioural difficulties, particularly Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Delays and Intellectual Disabilities.
She has worked in tertiary developmental assessment services (St George Hospital) in providing multidisciplinary diagnostic assessments, including developmental, intellectual and play based assessments. Sophia works in a child and family focused model where the family’s needs are prioritised and evidence based practices are implemented. She believes in a multidisciplinary approach where collaboration across various disciplines, services and organisations is encouraged.
Sophia is a Clinical Psychologist with a Master of Psychology degree from the University of NSW, and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the College of Clinical Psychologists. She is an accredited administrator for various developmental, intellectual and functional assessment tools.
