Dr Katherine Hensley – Consultant Paediatrician MD FAAP FRACP
Dr. Kate is a consultant General Paediatrician with over 14 years’ experience working with children with complex health care needs. She is passionate about working in partnership with families toward the physical, educational, and psychological well-being of her patients.
She completed her Doctor of Medicine degree in the United States at East Tennessee State University and completed her paediatric specialty training at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. She worked in private practice and at Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Texas, where she served as the chair of the department of paediatrics.
After immigrating to Australia in 2022, she completed additional training at the Children’s Hospital Westmead and was awarded fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Paediatric and Child Health Division) in 2025. She is excited to be able to serve the families of Sydney!
Dr Kate is a mother of two wonderful boys and understands the challenges of parenthood, especially when caring for a child with unique needs.
