Dr Rebecca Lindsay-Mealey – Consultant Paediatrician FRACP
Dr Rebecca Lindsay-Mealey is a consultant General Paediatrician with over 10 years of experience working as a doctor in hospital, neonatal, community, and developmental paediatrics.
Rebecca completed her medical degree through the University of Newcastle, being awarded a Bachelor of Medicine with Distinction, and achieving the top prize in Psychiatry. Rebecca undertook specialist Paediatric training through the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network, and holds Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
Rebecca brings a unique depth to her practice through her background in Clinical Ethics, having completed a Fellowship at the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network. This allows her to support families through complex medical decisions with clarity, compassion and respect for their values. She is known for her calm, thoughtful approach and her commitment to open, collaborative communication.
Rebecca provides a level of care that balances clinical excellence with ethical insight, supporting children and their families with a personalised, values-based approach to paediatric health. As a mother of three young children, Rebecca empathises with the challenges of parenting, and is passionate about working together with children and their families to seek pragmatic and practical solutions to their healthcare needs.
